The Park and Ride has been completed and is now up and running.
Work on the construction of the first nine holes of the golf course started in February 2008 and these were due to be completed during the autumn months. Construction of the second nine holes will commence next year when the first nine come into operation. There is currently no news when work might start on the golf clubhouse and its car park.
Previously Footpath No. 582 cut right across the first and third holes of the golf course, and was the subject of a footpath diversion order. There were no objections to the proposed diversion which was recently confirmed by GBC who have now diverted the footpath onto its new route.
